  1. 1 lbstew meat
  2. 1 bagwide egg noodles
  3. 1large onion; chopped
  4. 2 tbspvegetable oil
  5. 2 canscream of mushroom soup
  6. 1/2 cupsour cream
  7. 8 ozcream cheese
  8. 1 cupfresh mushrooms; sliced
  9. to tastesalt & pepper
  10. 1/2 cupmilk
  11. 3 tspgarlic salt

Cooking Instructions

    In large skillet add oil, garlic salt, chopped onion & stew meat. Cook until onions are translucent & meat is browned. Set aside.

    In a large bowl add soups, sour cream, cream cheese, mushrooms & milk. Beat until smooth.

    Add meat (juice & all) to crockpot, then add bowl mix to crockpot & stir until mixed thoroughly. Cover & cook on low for 5hrs, stirring every hr or so.

    In the last hour boil your noodles, drain & add to crockpot. Stir so it's all combined, cover for 10 mins, let stand for 5 mins & serve.

Do you have to add cream cheese or can I use more sour cream instead. I have never used cream and worried about how thick it will be.
