Wash the methi leaves and squeeze out the water then chop it.

Take the gram flour in a bowl and add the chopped methi leaves garlic ginger paste red chilli powder turmeric powder cumin powder asafoetida salt and pepper powder and mix well.

Now add the required water and make a batter of medium consistency and keep aside.

Heat oil in a kadhai for deep frying the pakoras and drop one spoonful of the methi-gram flour batter in it and then deep fry till they turn golden brown.

Serve it hot with onion green chutney or tomato ketchup.
