Heat oil add whole garam masala(elachi,dalchini,tej patta, long, star anise,)add sliced onions cook till golden brown,add ginger garlic paste & add carrot chopped and potatoes cut in half.

Add green peas fresh,haldi tomatoes chopped and salt then methi leaves.add water let it boil,now add rice (either soak it for 1/2 hr) or just wash it and add.cover and cook.

If cooking in cooker, cook for 1 whistle.add 1 or 2 TBS ghee or 1tsp lime juice to get rice separate
