Whenever I remember home this is one dish that I prepare. It's my comfort food. My mom makes amazing kheers. This is one that I love the most so thought I will share it here.
Steps

First, Prepare jaggery syrup. In a pan add jaggery and 1/4th cup of water. Cook till the syrup is done. Pressure cook moong dhal for 5 to 6 whistles.

Once pressure is out mash the moong dhal. Add jaggery syrup to it. Finally add coconut milk. Garnish with loads of nuts fried in ghee. Serve it hot or cold
