Star Roti

#FMC
My babies are fussy eaters. They would rather live on cake and milk than eat anything healthy and filling. I try to make different things for them to include in their diet. This receipe is one such way to make them eat dry fruits, especially during winters. This roti is good for their bones, eyes, muscles, brain and what more, it's artificial sugarfree.
I have used star cutter as their fav nursery rhyme is twinkle twinkle little star, u can try any version of it, even as a conventional paratha, for their tiffins or a small roti for your or your spouse's dabba as a sweet dish.

Steps

  1. 1

Take almonds in a mixie, blend to coarse powder. Add cashews to it, blend to fine powder without over pulsing it, as it will leave oil. Add raisins and 1 tbsp ghee to it, blend to a thick paste, add 1 or 2 tbsp milk if needed to blend it evenly.

  2. 2

Make a roti, out ofnthe kneaded flour. Use a big star cutter, place the dry fruit paste on it in the middle. Use 2 sizes smaller star cutter to cover the entire paste. Use water or milk to stick both the stars together.

  3. 3

Cook the roti on a tawa while using oil. Cook on slow flame, so that both the sides cook evenly as it's a thick roti. Once done, serve hot.
