All time favourite recipe. This was inspired by the Yellow rice of South Africa and India #Friedricerecipecontest #aishatumalalunch
Steps

Parboil rice with turmeric to give the yellow colour

In a clean pan, add your oil

Fry onions

Add the diced carrot and the lightly ground scotch peppers and garlic

Add just enough stock cubes and salt
- 6
Now add the parboiled rice and pour in all the spices you like. I used curry, black pepper and cumin.

Lastly add the rest of the veggies i.e green Pepper, parsley, peas and green beans. Sprinkle water to make avoid burning.

Cover the pan and let it cook slowly for about 7 to 10 minutes. Serve with Salads or peppered chicken.
