Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmaida/all purpose flour
  2. 1 pinchsalt
  3. 1/4 tspcarrom seeds or ajwain
  4. 1 tspoil
  5. filling
  6. 1/2 cupboiled sprouts
  7. to taste salt, chilli powder and chaat masala
  8. as neededoil for deep frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Add oil in maida and rub for 2 mins

  2. 2

    Add salt, carrom seeds and knead with water(neither tight nor soft but medium firmness)

  3. 3

    Cover and give it rest

  4. 4

    Prepare your filling by adding all the masalas to sprouts(if they have water then stir fry them)

  5. 5

    Roll the small balls from dough like chapati, put filling in centre, give a shape of potli and with the help of water seal it

  6. 6

    Deep fry them and enjoy with chutney

  7. 7

    Filling can be made with peas or potato also
