Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbasmati rice
  2. 2big tomato chopped
  3. 1onion chopped
  4. 2green chilli chopped
  5. 2 spoonGinger paste
  6. 1 spooncumin seeds
  7. Salt
  8. 1 spoonturmeric powder
  9. 2bay leaf
  10. 1/2 spoonred chilli powder
  11. 2 pinchhing
  12. 1 spoongram masala
  13. 1 spoonpav bhaji masala
  14. 2clove
  15. 2 spoonoil

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the basmati rice soak for 15 minutes.. Take a deep pan put it on medium flame and pour water in it.. Bring it To boil water add soak rice cover the pan with lid cook till becomes soft.. now remove from heat keep a side..

    Now add the chopped tomatoes in a blender and bland it properly. transfer the puree in a bowl..

    Take a pan,Heat oil in a pan add bay leaf, clove, cumin seeds, chopped onion saute it till pink... then add green chilli, ginger paste. Saute these ingredients for a few minutes..

    Now add tomato puree, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala, red chilli powder, salt as required. Cook until the oil separate.

    Add the cookd rice to the tomato grave mix well..once done... Transfer the tomato rice in a service bowl... and garnish with coriander leaves..

    Serve with mango pickle, papad, chutney..
