Steps

Heat ghee in a pan and add gram flour in it and roast it in ghee at medium low flame. Also add saffron threads in it.

Roast in ghee till it turns golden brown in colour.

Now add powdered sugar and stir regularly to avoid lumps.

Once sugar get dissolved add mawa and mix well on low flame to avoid burning of sugar.

Now grease a plate and transfer the mixture to the plate and garnish with dry fruits and let it cool for 1 hour. Make cuts to shape of your choice.

After 1 hour separate the pieces of burfi and serve.
