Ingredients

  1. 1/4 CupRipe Mango Pulp
  2. 1/4 CupRava or Semolina
  3. 3/4 CupWater
  4. 1/2 CupSugar
  5. 3Tbsps. Desi Ghee
  6. 1/2 Tsp.Cardamom Powder
  7. as neededFew Strands of Saffron
  8. 1 tbspCashew for Garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the ghee in non-stick pan and side by side boil the water in separate sauce pan, If you are vegan just dry roast the semolina in non-stick pan.

  2. 2

    Add the semolina and broken cashew in ghee and roast till to light brown colour.

  3. 3

    Blend the mango in mixer till to smooth consistency. Now add this puree in boiling water with few strands of saffron.

  4. 4

    Add the boiling water into semolina and stir continuously to avoid lumps.

  5. 5

    Stir till to semolina becomes fluffy and absorbs whole water.

  6. 6

    Add sugar and cardamom powder, mix again. Now it’s look alike glossy and shiny.

  7. 7

    Garnish with fried cashew halves and serve hot.
