Ingredients

  1. to cook vermicelli:–
  2. 2 tspOil
  3. 1 cupvermicelli / semiya
  4. As neededwater to cook
  5. 1/2 tspsalt
  6. other ingredients:–
  7. 3 tspOil
  8. 1 tspmustard seeds
  9. 1/2 tspurad dal
  10. 1dried red chilli
  11. 2green chilli slit
  12. 1/2 tspturmeric
  13. 2 tbsppeas
  14. 1tomato chopped
  15. 2 tbspcarrot finely chopped
  16. 2 tbspcapsicum finely chopped
  17. 2 tbsponion finely chopped
  18. 2 tbspcoriander finely chopped
  19. 1/2lemon
  20. to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly, in a kadai heat oil and splutter mustard seeds urad dal, dried red chilli and few curry leaves.

  2. 2

    Now add green chilli. saute well.
    Further, add onion and saute slightly.
    Also add peas, carrot and capsicum. Saute for a minute.

  3. 3

    Additionally, add turmeric and salt. saute for a minute. Add chopped tomato.

  4. 4

    Cover and cook for 2 minutes or till vegetables turn soft.

  5. 5

    Add in cooked semiya and mix gently. do not over mix as semiya will get mashed.

  6. 6

    Now add coriander leaves and lemon juice, mix well.

  7. 7

    Serve hot.
