Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 cPretzels (broken up)
  2. 1 cButter/Margarine
  3. 1-12 ozPackage Cream Cheese
  4. 1 1/2 cSugar
  5. 1-9 ozCool Whip
  6. 1-6 ozStrawberry or Raspberry Jello
  7. 2 cWater (boiling)
  8. 1large package Frozen Strawberries

Cooking Instructions

    Put pretzels in a plastic bag and crush with rolling pin.

    Melt butter in a large pan and crushed pretzels. Stir to coat evenly. Press pretzel/butter mixture in bottom of a 9x13 inch pan and chill in the refrigerator until set.

    Blend the cream cheese and sugar together. Fold in whipped topping and set aside.

    Make Jello according to "quick set" instructions on the box using frozen strawberries instead of ice cubes. Let set.

    Assemble: Spread cream cheese mixture on top of the pretzels, then carefully pour jello on top of the cream cheese mixture. Let set out for about 30 minutes before putting in the refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.
