Pre-heat oven to 190°c fan 180°c Prepare the baking tray either spray with oil or butter or use baking paper. In a large bowl Cream the Butter/Margarine with the Sugar.

Mix the Egg and Vanilla. It will separate but it'll be fine.

Add the Flour and fold into the mix too incorporated.

Add the Smarties and fold in. Use a ice cream scoop (size is up to you) I use a small. And scoop onto a baking tray. Leaving space between each one. Bake in the oven for 8-10 mins. Leave on the tray to cool and slightly harden up or they will break apart. And enjoy!!!
