Steps

Lightly grease & flour two 6"pans or 1 8" pan & set aside. Alternatively, line pans with parchment paper. Preheat your oven & set to medium heat.

Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder & baking soda into your mixing bowl, add sugar & salt, & mix thoroughly.

Add the eggs, oil, baileys & vanilla to the flour mixture & mix till thoroughly combined.

Add the boiling water lastly & fold in till batter is smooth & mixed completely. Pour batter into prepared pans & bake on medium heat for 30-45minutes, or till a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

For the buttercream; Cream butter/margarine till light & fluffy, add icing sugar & cocoa powder 1 cup at a time & mix, add the baileys & mix thoroughly. If it's too thin, add more icing sugar to thicken it.

Apply the buttercream to the cake, after it has cooled down completely & enjoy
