Chocolate Cake Chocolate Cake
Made this few week ago we frozen the slices and had 60g each every Saturday and Sunday with ice cream. This time I used butter instead of margarine and added 1 egg plus used large instead of medium. This cake is soft with crunchy top and sides. And everyone who tried it had it eat whole portion in 1 go as apposed to wanting to save some. Irmgard Gater -

Berry Scones Berry Scones
This is my base recipe for scones. You can mix in whatever berries you want and there is a lot of room for trying out new things. There are a couple keys steps. First is to use frozen grated butter. The second is to use frozen berries or mix ins. Keeping your dough cold is important as it will stop over spreading during baking and give you amazing flakey scones. Chris Jordan -
Unforgettable Scones Unforgettable Scones
A long time ago a café near where I worked had these delicious scones. I'd eat them, and then everyday at home try various ingredients to make this. This is the result of various attempts. If you leave all the ingredients in the refrigerator and let them cool, it'll bake very nicely. We only have an electric oven at home so it's not possible, but if you have a gas oven you can get close to those unforgettable scones. If you make these with a gas oven, please let me know. Recipe by Mahha mama cookpad.japan -
Chocolate Coffee Scones Chocolate Coffee Scones
I love coffee and scones, so I created coffee flavoured scones. It's a great match with the bitterness of coffee and sweet chocolate chips. I like the volume and texture of the scones from Starbucks, so I tried to recreate it in my recipe. The most important point is mixing it all quickly while everything is still cold.I have confidence that my scones can compete with those from coffee shops. Please enjoy while having hot coffee at your home café.If you make these with a heart shape, it would be a great gift for Valentine’s Day! For 8 scones. Recipe by yaburie cookpad.japan -

Basic Scones Basic Scones
I modified a scone recipe that I fond in an old English cookbook to use cake flour instead of whole wheat flour. I know it off by heart but thought I'd make a note anyway. (I combined this recipe with the old "Earl Grey Scones" recipe that I had already uploaded).Due to using vegetable oil and allowing the dough to sit in a warm place, these scones have a moist, fluffy, and soft finish. Adjust the baking time depending on your type of oven. You can eat these the day after you've made them by either popping them in the toaster oven or heating them up for 10 seconds in the microwave. White Chocolate and Lemon Peel Scones & Dark Matcha Scones White Chocolate and Lemon Peel Scones & Dark Matcha Scones
The white chocolate and orange peel scones sold at a store were delicious, so I tried making them at home. American style scones are very quick to make, so I reduced the number of ingredients so that they can be made easily whenever you want to eat them.If the dough won't come together properly, add a little milk. Orange peel tastes better, but lemon peel works too. If you heat the butter and milk too much, the chocolate chips will melt, so be careful. If it's too hot, cool it down before adding it to the flour. For 8 scones. Recipe by MiyaCo cookpad.japan
