Ten-hour slow cooker gudeg. According to my husband, who is originally from Central Java, it's delicious.. Haha.. This recipe is adapted from Febryani Chourmain.

Layer the chicken at the bottom, then add the jackfruit, bay leaves, galangal, palm sugar, coconut milk, brewed tea, and spice paste in the slow cooker.

Cook for 8 hours on low setting.

At the 8-hour mark, stir to mix the spices better. Taste and adjust seasoning. Cook for another 2 hours on high setting.

Tadaaa! Savory and not too sweet. Haha.. If you want it drier, just heat it on the stove.
