Soak urad dhal for 2-3 hours. Grind it soft by adding water little by little. Don't pour more water.
While frying it absorb more oil. When you touch the batter it should be like thick paste.
Add all the above ingredients and mix well.
Rice flour makes your vada more crispy. So if you add more water by mistake need not worry add rice flour to compensate.
Heat oil in a pan pat the batter on banana leaf and put the hole in the middle by using finger.
