First you need to select the Ukwa, make sure that there's no sand in it, then wash it properly..
After washing put them in the pot, add water and then cook. - 2
When it starts to boil, add little Potash(akawu), it helps to make it to done fast.

When its done and soft sieve the water (not all complety) out in plate and set aside.
Set back on fire, add the rest of the ingredients.
Then cover it let it boil until its absolutely soft. - 4
Serve with the sieved water and enjoy
