Heat oil in a pressure cooker

Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, ginger garlic paste, onion and sauté it

Add chopped spinach and sauté it for sometime

Add chopped tomato and cook it. Add turmeric and salt and let it cook

Add soaked lentil and two cups of water
- 6
Close the lid of the cooker and give 3 to 4 whistles

Your daal is now ready to eat. Check for salt and add coriander for garnish
