Wash the rice and rince until the water is clear. Add 4 cups cold water and bring to boil, rapidly for 5 minutes the reduce heat until the rice is 90% ready. Switch off the heat and cover.

Fry the onions until golden brown, add the garlic and continue cooking. Add the meat and cook under low heat for about 10 minutes. Add the tomatoes, carrots, green peas and salt continue cooking for about 10 minutes. Add the cumin powder.

Add some little water,pour in the rice and simmer for another 8 minutes, serve hot.
