Molokhia with Chicken Breasts (Diet Recipe)

Sauté the onion in a pot with 1/4 teaspoon oil until it turns color, then add the chicken and sprinkle a little salt. Keep stirring until the chicken turns golden, then add water and wait for it to boil. Remove the foam-like layer on top, then add the bay leaves, tomato, and onion until the chicken is cooked.

Strain the chicken broth and add the chicken pieces. Add a small amount of broth and the molokhia, increasing the broth as needed for the desired thickness. Let it boil for just 5 minutes, then add the garlic sautéed with or without oil until it turns golden. Wait 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.

Serve with a mixture of lemon, garlic, and green pepper (1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic with one green pepper, juice of one lemon, a little salt, and two tablespoons of water).
