Stir Fry Round Cabbage with dried shrimps (炒高丽菜)

Ingredients

  1. 1/2Round Cabbage (not Napa Cabbage)
  2. 1 tbspdried shrimps
  3. 3 slicesginger (sliced to thin strips)
  4. 4 clovesgarlic (minced)
  5. 4shiitake mushrooms (sliced)
  6. 1/2carrot (thinly shredded)
  7. 2 stalksspring unions (green part only) sliced to 2 inches
  8. Sauce---
  9. dried shrimp's soaking water
  10. 1/2 tspsoya sauce
  11. 1/2 tspsesame oil
  12. 2 dasheswhite pepper powder

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse dried shrimps and soak them with 1/3 cup hot water in a small bowl until softened. Drain the dried shrimps, setting aside the soaking water. Pat dry the shrimp with kitchen towel.

    In a pot, add oil over medium heat.

    In with ginger and dried shrimp and cook for 2 mins.

  4. 4

    Add garlic and mushroom in.

  5. 5

    Add cabbage in and sauce to coat everything.

  6. 6

    Cover the pot with lid and simmer until soften.

  7. 7

    Add carrots, spring unions.

  8. 8

    Serve with steamed rice.
