Steps

Wash and peel baby potato and poke with a knife or fork.

Now heat oil in a wok and shallow fry these baby potato. Keep them aside.

Now again heat a wok and add oil in it.

Now add cumin seeds and asfoateida in it. Saute for few seconds.

Now add Onion and garlic in it.fry them.

When Onion changes it's colour add tomato and green chilli in it.

Meanwhile take besan and all the spices. Add 2 tablespoon water and make a mixture. Keep it aside.

When tomato becomes soft and mushy add masala besan mixture in it. Cook it till it leaves oil.

Now add fried baby potato and mix it nicely.

Add 1/2 cup water and salt. Mix it.

Cook it until potatoes are done and gravy thickens.

Now turn off the flame. Your besan wale dum aloo is ready to eat.
