Ingredients

  • 5.3 ozdark chocolate (150 g)
  • 3 1/2 tablespoonsalmond milk (about 1.7 fl oz or 50 ml)
  • Liquid from one 14 oz can of chickpeas (aquafaba)
  • 1/4 cupsugar (about 1.8 oz or 50 g)

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt the chocolate with the almond milk in a saucepan, then let it cool.

  2. 2

    Pour the liquid from a 14 oz can of chickpeas into a mixing bowl. Whip the liquid like egg whites, gradually adding the sugar. This may take about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Once the chickpea liquid is whipped to stiff peaks, like beaten egg whites, gently fold in the cooled melted chocolate.

  4. 4

    Refrigerate for a few hours, then enjoy!
