Ingredients

30-45 min
1-2 heads
  • 1whole Tilapia (cleaned)
  • 2 tbspsalt / garlic salt
  • 2 tbsppepper
  • 1 tsporegano
  • 1-2 tspchilli flakes
  • 1lime/lemon and juice of one lime
  • 3 tbsptomato sauce
  • 1 tbspginger
  • 1 tspturmeric powder

Steps

    Remove ice and keep the fish in turmeric and lime juice mixed lukewarm water for couple of hours.

    Take out the fish from water and use a paper towel to get rid of excess water.

  3. 3

    Put few cuts on fish on each side

  4. 4

    Mix pepper,salt, chilli flakes, oregano, ginger paste and evenly apply the mix on the fish.Make sure that the mix applied in to the cuts and the abdomen well.Keep the fish to be well seasoned for couple of hours.

    Preheat the oven to 350F -400F gor 2 min.Keep a piece of lime inside the fish.Apply tomato sauce on one side of the fish and bake for about 20 minutes.Take out the fish and turn the sides and again bake for another 15-20 minutes after applying tomato sauce.Keep few lime/lemon slices on the fish(optional)

    Serve the fish with steamed vegetables and with any dip you like.Enjoy!
