This is very yummy and unique dish. This is my own innovation. I have made edible NATIONAL FLOWER LOTUS with using orange , kiwi, paneer, condensed milk and desiccated coconut. It's amalgamation of sweet, tangy and sour taste. Overall so many bursting flavours and look of dish attracts everyone to gobble in.

Ingredients

5 servings
  1. To make green coloured Sandesh:
  2. 1Kiwi
  3. 2 tablespoonsDesiccated coconut
  4. 1 tablespoonCondensed milk
  5. 1 tablespoonMilk powder
  6. 100 gramsCottage cheese(Paneer)
  7. To make orange coloured sandesh :
  8. 1 tablespoonDeseeded Orange pulp
  9. 1 tablespoonCoconut powder
  10. 1 tablespoonMilk powder
  11. 80 gramsPaneer
  12. 1 tablespoonCondensed milk
  13. Other ingredients:
  14. 1 tablespoonAlmonds

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    First heat enough water to soak almonds.Now peel them off and cut from midway. (Refer picture for help) Keep these chopped almonds aside.

  2. 2

    Now to make kiwi flavoured sandesh, mash paneer with palm till it smoothens. Add rest mentioned ingredients to make smooth dough. Make small balls of kiwi sandesh and keep aside.

    Now to make orange sandesh, mash paneer again with palm till it smoothens. Add rest mentioned ingredients to make smooth dough.

    Make smaller balls of this dough than kiwi sandesh balls.(Refer picture)

    Keep orange balls on midway or centre of kiwi sandesh. Keep chopped almonds aside of orange balls as shown in picture.

  6. 6

    Refrigerate for half an hour to let them set properly.

  7. 7

    Yummy, healthy, innovative, power-packed and tricoloured Lotus Sandesh are ready to relish.
