Glyn's 'Adult only' Flapjacks

Sometimes there are no snacks in the cupboard or i want something to munch with my cup of tea. This recipe is good for the kids to make but for you to eat. You could exclude the booze if the kids are going to eat them though.

Steps
- 1
Pre heat oven to Gas Mark 4 or 180°C
- 2
In a saucepan on a low heat melt the Butter, Sugar and Syrup.
- 3
Once melted add the oats and then cook them out.
- 4
Add the raisins to the saucepan and mix till all the raisins are all coated in the hot mixture.
- 5
Pour the mixture into a buttered baking tray and level and smooth out expelling all the air and compacting the mix.
- 6
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
- 7
Cut into squares and allow to fully cool before turning them out.
- 8
I usually, then store them in a tin and allow 24 hours before having the first full one. This for me allow the very soft bottom to firm up a bit and the crunchy top to soften a little. Yumm..
