The dish that is ideally part of Fasting Menu. But it can be feasting even if you don't want to go fasting way. An yumm dish ( what is not love about potatoes ?), that your taste buds will love. Easy, Simple to make and must try if you love spuds.

Peel the potatoes and immerse them into salted water

Now using either food processor or grater, grate the peeled potatoes and keep them aside.

Heat ghee/oil in wok.

Add cumin seeds in and let them splutter.

Add curry leaves (if using) followed by green chillies.

Once you see spots on the chillies, add in the grated potatoes.

Mix well and cover.

Let the potatoes cook in the steam.

Open the cover in between and mix everything. Check if potatoes are cooked.

Tip the peanuts. Make sure that the peanuts are not ground fine. They provide nice crunch to the dish.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

You can either serve with plain yougurt or sweet yogurt.

If you don't want yogurt, you can add dash of lemon juice in the end just before serving.
