Inspired by this recipe from Chris when i had no paprika in the cupboard 😁

Always add salt after cooking these ... otherwise they shrivel up a bit and do not look or taste good ..
If you want extra crispy fries, coat in cornstarch before baking.

Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1big sweet potato, chopped into even sized sticks
  • 1 tspolive oil
  • 1/2 tspza’atar

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 200C.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, mix the potato pieces with the oil and za’atar.

  3. 3

    Put the fries onto a lined baking tray. Give them space to help them crisp.

  4. 4

    Bake for 25-35 mins or so until tender.

  5. 5

    Add some salt and pepper... or more za’atar. Enjoy 😋
