Wash basmati rice and soak for 15 minutes in 200g of water.

After 15 minutes transfer in cooker cook till one whistle.

After releasing the pressure check rice must be cooked properly.

Let them little bit cool.

Add milk and stir continuously. Don't add chilled milk in hot rice. it can ruin your dish.

On medium heat cook it turns thick.

Stir in every 10 minutes. Your spatula must touch the bottom of the pot.

Meanwhile chop dryfruits.

When it goes thick add sugar and crushed cardamom.

Add chopped dry fruits also.

Stir once again.

After adding sugar, kheer will be little bit liquid.

So make it thick again.

Turn off the flame.

You can serve hot.

But if you like it chilled, let it cool on room temperature.

Place it in refrigerator for one hour and serve chilled.
