My mom made this every summer. I consider this the ultimate potato salad. For those who prefer a more tangy flavor you can replace the sweet pickles or relish with chopped dill pickles.

#Global Apron week 24, I chose chunk tuna as myIngredient. Canned tuna a staple in my pantry. You can cook multiple recipes hot, cold, baked. Below is my version of cold tuna that can be eaten alone, with crackers, stuffed in a tomato, or my favorite Tuna salad on toast.

Just the basic potato salad we like to have with BBQ or, you know, for general potato salad purposes.I love using leftovers in a potato salad and ham sandwich. :)))If you don't like sweet pickles, you can always sub with dill or kosher dill. Same goes with the brine.

My mother in law introduced me to this salad. The large amount of pickles and eggs is what makes this salad so good.Be sure to make plenty of dressing. Error on the side of making this salad a bit too wet. As it sits, this salad will absorb a lot of the dressing, making it dry if you do not use enough.

I make this with all the children's hard boiled eggs from the Easter Holiday every year and also sometimes in between when we are just craving it! I am a fan of miracle whip's flavor however, I will use mayonnaise if that's what I have. I also normally use celery seed as I enjoy the flavor of that as well. However, I've been out of that spice lately so I decided to substitute chia seeds and it worked just fine! You can also substitute any onions you have for the green ones. This is great on bread, in wraps, & even on crackers! (*Note: this recipe is written with eggs already hard boiled, if you need to boil them first, you will need to add 10-15 mins to your cook time.)

My mom and her mom made the best Mac salad I ever had. Their secret ingredient was a can or 2 of tiny shrimp. 😀
