Native spaghetti with palm oil
Its called taliyar hausa and is a local delicacy a lot of northerners enjoy. It is served with oil and yaji. I personally like it with red oil and a generous helping of lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes.

Steps
- 1
You can either buy your local spaghetti or make it urself. If making urself then u need flour and water. Mix to form a smooth dough and cut it using ur pasta cutting machine.
- 2
Bring water to a boil and add ur taliya. Note that it cooks easier and faster than the packaged spaghetti. Sieve out in ur colander, and allow to drain.
- 3
Fry ur red oil. Dish out ur taliya and top with red oil and yaji and sliced vegetables. I enjoyed mine with chilled cocacola.
