Ingredients

40 minutes
7 servings
  • 2 cupsWhole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cupOats
  • 1 cupPowdered sugar
  • 2/3 cupBoiled Raw mango puree
  • 1 teaspoonBaking powder
  • 1/3 teaspoonBaking soda
  • 1 pinchSalt
  • 1 cupWarm Milk
  • 2 dropsLiquid Green food colour
  • 2 tablespoonButter
  • For garnishing:
  • 2 tablespoonEdible Rose petals
  • Sprinklers according to need

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    First take all dry ingredients and sieve twice.

  2. 2

    Now mix all wet ingredients separately till fluffy.

  3. 3

    Now add sieved dry mixture in wet batter in 3 batches.

  4. 4

    Cut and fold batter very well but gently. Add food colour and mix nicely.

  5. 5

    Grease and dust cake mould. Pour batter in it and tap it twice. Bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes in preheated oven.

  6. 6

    Do toothpick test. If it comes clean then cake is ready. Now Keep aside to cool.

  7. 7

    Delicious yet healthy sweet and tangy (khatta-Meetha) cake is ready to serve.
