First urad dal and idly rawa and fenureek seeds soak 7 to 8 hours

After soak we grind together and keep for fermentation whole night

Now after ready batter add salt then we steam idly in steamer for 20 minutes

To making sambar heat oil in pan put mustard seeds and cumin seeds and curry leaves,saute onion and tomato

Then add boiled mashed toordal with enough water

Then add tamrind,salt and sambar masala boil 10 mints

Add boiled drumstick sticks and cover to cook sambar ready

Ready to serve idly with sambar and coconut chutney
