V tasty , helps in digestion system, nutritious.Special & favourite chutney of Punjab.
Steps

Saok tamarind in water.

Boil 2 cup water in a pan with jaggery.cook till jaggery dissolved in the water.

Heat pan with 1 tbsp oil,add 1 tsp chana dal, mix well & stir.

Now add 1 tsp fenugreek seeds 4 whole red chillies,mix well & stir.

Add chopped ginger& garlic,mix well & stir till smell goes off.Switch off the flame & let it cool down.

Transfer it to grinder & grind for once.

Add soaked tamarind water,jaggery water,saltt,red chilli powder to the grinded chutney & grind again for once.

Heat rest of the oil in a pan with mustard seeds (Rai),let them crackle up.

Now add urad dal,2 whole red chillies, asafoetida & curry leaves.Mix well stir for few seconds.Switch off the flame.

Add it to grinded chutney.

Mix well & serve with any meal.
