Wash the leaves, add chillies to it and grind to paste with little water, squeeze half lemon in to it to prevent it from changing the colour and keep aside.

Wash the Basmathi rice, add three cups water and 1 cup coconut milk in tom it and soak for 10 minutes.

Heat a pan with oil and ghee. Do the seasoning with cumin seeds.Throw in the spices.(clove and cinnamon)

Once they splutter fry onions till it becomes light brown. Now add the green peas and fry for two minutes.

Add the garlic ginger paste.After few stirs transfer leaves paste in to it and saute for a minute. the soaked rice with coconut milk and water in to the pan. Add required salt.

When it starts boiling well close the pan with a lid and keep the flame to minimum.

Switch off after 12 minutes.

Give standing time 10 minutes. Open lid, mix gently and the pulao is ready now.
