Singhara aatta (Water chestnut flour) is an ingredient used in fasting .I prepared delicious singhara aatta barfi .It is an easy and quick recipe .
Steps

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan and add singhara flour in it.Roast it on low flame till light brown.(Keep stirring continuously.) Now Transfer it into a plate.

Now in same pan add 1.5 cups water and add sugar in it.when it boils add roasted flour in it and mix well.Make sure no lumps are present in it.Keep stirring continuously. when it thickens add desiccated coconut and cook until it leaves sides of the pan.

Now add cardamom powder & add chopped nuts and mix well.

Grease a tray and transfer the prepared mixture into the tray evenly. Let it cool now or refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Garnish with melon seeds and sliced almonds.Cut into desired shape and serve
