Once in a while I eat this, though it gives me gas most times, it serves a great meal.

Wash your green grams thoroughly and get it to boil for 45-50 mins on medium heat until crushed to form a paste. You could soak previously for less time boiling

In a separate pan, heat the oil, add finely chopped onions, fry until they start browning, add the tomato, cover and let simmer for 3minutes to cook well. Add bell peppers and cook for two minutes. Add a mixture of the turmeric and milk, cover and cook for five minutes. Add salt to taste. The soup will turn out thick

Take the boiled green grams and add to the cooking soup. Let simmer for few minutes. You could serve hot with rice, chapati or any other food of preference.
