Ingredients

  • 1 boxRotini spiral pasta
  • 1green pepper chopped coarsley
  • 1/2red onion or 1 small slivered
  • 1/2 cupchopped celery (mom uses more)
  • 4green onions (mom uses more)
  • 1 cupmushroom slices (mom doesn't use because they get brown)
  • 1/2 packagefrozen peas rinsed in a colander
  • 10-15pitted, ripe olives sliced
  • 10cherry tomatoes halved
  • 3/4 bottleItalian dressing (mom uses Ken's Italian with aged Romano)
  • Several shakes of red wine vinegar

Steps

  1. 1

    Mom mixes it all up on one day and then let it sit over night, and adds extra dressing (sometimes vinegar) if the pasta absorbs it.

  2. 2

    Mom makes pasta al dente. When done cooking the pasta put it in a colander and rinse cold water over it so it stops cooking it.
