I made some yummy chicken pilau and decided to accompany it with this mouthwatering hot sauce! Simple and delicious!!

In a blender, cut up the tomatoes into chunks, in goes the garlic slices and the ginger slices. Blend until smooth.

Chop the onion finely or you can choose to grate it or pulse it in a blender.

Chop the green bell pepper and green chillie pepper into small pieces

In a pan, add the oil and let it heat over low heat. Then add the grated onions and sauté for a minute or so, until the onions start to become translucent.

Add the tomato, garlic and ginger paste that you previously blended, stir and let cook for 1 minute

Add the green chillie, green bell pepper and chopped pickels, let them cook one minute, add the red chillie flakes, black pepper, pickle juice and lemon juice plus salt to taste. Stir well to mix everything then allow to cook on low heat for 3-5 minutes. Turn off the heat and serve.

Enjoy with almost anything, viazi karai, bhajia, pilau, rice, biriani, you name it. Serves as a very yummy appetizer/ additional flavor to meals.
