Ingredients

  1. 1Ripe banana mashed
  2. 1/2 cupAll purpose flour
  3. 1/2 cupSuji rava
  4. 1/4 cupSugar powder
  5. 1 teaspoonBaking soda
  6. 1 tspFennel seeds (saunf)
  7. as required Milk
  8. 1/2 kgSugar for sugar syrup
  9. 1/2 ltrOil for frying
  10. 3Cardamoms
  11. as requiredSaffron,chopped pistas, almonds for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Add maida, suji, fennel seeds, sugar powder and soda into mashed banana

    Pour milk and mix well with all ingredients, make a thick batter like dosa batter,

    Make sugar syrup, take 1/2 litre of water and 1/2 kg sugar, boil for 15 mins or till it sticky on palm, then add cardamom and gulab jal, saffron, switch off flame, keep aside

    Mix well once again, and put one by one in hot oil fry till golden brown, keep medium flame

    Taking out from oil and put in sugar syrup for 5 mins.

    Taking out from sugar syrup and serve with sugar syrup or rabdi.

    Garnish with chopped almonds and pista.

    Notes:- Don't make batter so thick and when frying keep medium flame
