Soak dal for 3-4 hours

Wash and strain in a strainer and drain excess water

In a non stick pan add 1 tbsp ghee and sauté the dal

Sauté the dal until water evaporates completely and becomes aromatic,take out in a plate.

Blend it in a blender

In the same pan dry roast the dal until it changes colour and aromatic

Add roughly grinded dryfruits.

Add condensed milk and cardamom powder

Add dessicated coconut and ghee

Make a sugar syrup using 2 cups of water and sugar

Add the sugar syrup to the mixture

Mix everything well till ghee separates

Transfer to a plate and spread evenly

Cut into desired shape when cool down

Garnish with chopped dry fruits and silver foil
