Steps

Add 2 teaspoons instant dry yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Add a teaspoon of sugar to the yeast mixture for better yeast activation.
Mix all together and leave it aside until the mixture turns foamy. - 2
Take 2 cups whole wheat flour in a wide bowl. Add a teaspoon of salt to the flour.
The foamy yeast mixture is ready. - 3
Pour the activated yeast mixture to the flour.

Start kneading by combining the ingredients.
Add required warm milk and knead into a super soft dough.
Add 3 to 4 tablespoons vegetable oil. - 5
Punch and knead front and back for 5 minutes or until dough looks smooth and soft.

Cover the dough and keep aside for an hour or until dough doubles in size.
Doubled in size, proofed dough is ready.Knock the air out from the dough and knead again for another 5 minutes. - 7
Divide the dough into equal 12 portions.

Take a portion of the dough. Sprinkle a teaspoon white sesame seeds, tablespoon cilantros.
Roll into a medium thickness long roti. Make dents using your finger tips on the Roti as shown. - 9
Heat a tawa. Place the roti. Sesame side up. Sprinkle water on top to ensure moistness.

Cover and cook in low to medium for 2 minutes.
The lower side is cooked while the upper side puffs up. Flip side, sprinkle water.
Apply butter / ghee. Cover and cook until brown spots. - 11
Gently press roti in between for even cooking.

Likewise cook the rest of the khameeri rotis.
Soft Khameeri rotis are ready. Brush extra butter / ghee. Serve hot with any flavorful curry.
