Steps

Marinate the mutton in salt, vinegar and 2 tbsp of oil and pressure cook it for 8 whistles

In a dry wok add the powdered spices and saute till aromat. Strain the mutton and add to the dry mix till evenly coated.

Add oil to a pan and saute all vegetables till the onion is mushy. Add the bay leaves, whole cumin and reserved water and bring to boil. Add the lentils in the reserve liquid

Add the mutton and cook covered

Add salt and sugar to taste

When the mutton falls off the bone remove from heat and add a cube of butter (optional)

Serve with hot rice, bread or flat bread
