Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 200 gmsooji
  2. 150 gmpowdered sugar
  3. 3 cupswater
  4. 250 gmfull fat milk
  5. 200 gmDesi ghee
  6. 30 gm desi gulab petals
  7. 30 mlrose essence
  8. 50 gm gulkand
  9. 10 gmRoasted almonds
  10. 10 gm roasted cashews

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash few rose petals and allow it to boil it for few minutes.strain it after it leaves it's colour and aroma.

  2. 2

    Now in a wok add desi ghee.Add sooji and roast it continuously by stirring it till it leaves it's aroma and turn pinkish brown.

    Add sugar into it

  4. 4

    Lower the flame add lukewarm water and milk into it..stir it continuously.

  5. 5

    Switch off the flame..Add preroasted nuts in it..

  6. 6

    Add few drops of rose essence and little strained rose water from the rose petals.

  7. 7

    Now pour the hot hulwa in the heart shaped silicon moulds and demould it after sometime.

  8. 8

    You will find cut beautiful designer hulwa aromat flavourful minni hearts.

  9. 9

    In the hearts cavity you now pour some gulkand and enjoy this Holi sweet treat.
