Cooking Instructions

In a bowl mix coffee with 1 teaspoon vanilla

Beat cream until it forms stiff

Beat marscapone, 1 teaspoon vanilla and the sweetened condensed milk

Add the marscapone to the cream and beat
- 5
Dip the biscuit in the cold coffee mixture and place them in the bottom of the pan
- 6
Cover the biscuit with 1/2 of the marscapone cream.

Dust cream with cocoa powder
- 8
Add another layer of biscuit dipped in coffee
- 9
Cover the biscuit layer with the remaining cream
- 10
Dust the final layer with cocoa powder
- 11
Granish with chocolate shavings.Refregerate at least 5hours

This recipes is the result of a lot of trial and error. I've been making this for the past 10 years. This time, I made it for my hubby's 40th birthday.The strawberry compote is just a mix of strawberries and sugar simmered together. You could also make this the traditional way and sprinkle cocoa powder on top. I topped it with strawberry compote based on my hubby's request.
