Steps

Sieve the semo in a plastic bowl or bucket.

Lastly add the blended onions to d paste.

In a separate bowl add little warm water to your yeast nd make a paste.allow to rest for at least 10mins.

Bring d yeast mixture and pour into the sieved semo and mix well.add in the sugar nd little salt to the mixture nd combine.

Add the baking powder nd warm water to make a fine smooth paste.not too watery nor too thick.cover with nylon for some hours to rise,it will double in size.

Preheat your masa pan on medium heat.pour little oil and spread in each hole,

Now pour the paste into the holes and allow to cook,use spoon to turn the side when done.it looks good when in light brown colour..

Can be eaten with sugar,honey,spinach soup or stew.enjoy.
