Ingredients

  1. 4 cupdrumstick leaves
  2. 2drumstick slender one boiled
  3. 1 tspoil/ghee
  4. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  5. 5garlic cloves thinly sliced
  6. 1 tspginger grated
  7. 1onion/sambar onion finely chopped
  8. 1large tomatoes finely chopped
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. to tasteBlack pepper crushed coarsely
  11. 1cinnamon stick
  12. 6 cupswater

  1. 1

    Take boiled drumstick and scoop or scrape out the flesh using a spoon from every piece and grind it into a fine paste using a blender. Keep aside.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a sauce pan and let it sizzle. Add in cinnamon stick, garlic, ginger and saute for a minute.

  3. 3

    Add onion and saute for a two min or so.

  4. 4

    Add tomatoes and cook till it turns mushy.

  5. 5

    Add drumstick leaves and drumstick paste saute for 4-5 mins.

  6. 6

    Add water and cook for five mins and season with salt and pepper.

  7. 7

    Remove from flame and serve hot.
