Ingredients

  1. 1 cupchopped vegetables(spring onions, carrots, brocolli,
  2. mushroons, cabbage, beans, tri colour capsicum etc.)
  3. 1/2 cupboiled hakka noodles
  4. 1 Tbfinely chopped garlic
  5. 1 tspfinely chopped Green chillies
  6. 1 Tboil(I like sesame)
  7. 1 Tbsoy sauce
  8. 1 Tbred chilli sauce
  9. 1 TbGreen chilli sauce
  10. 2.5 cupswater
  11. 2 tspcornflour dissolved in little water
  12. to tasteSalt
  13. to tasteBlack pepper powder
  14. Sugar(optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a big pan. Add finely chopped garlic and saute till golden brown.

  2. 2

    Add the finely chopped vegetables except spring onion greens. Toss on high flame for a minute. The crunch of vegetables should remain.

  3. 3

    Add Green chillies, all sauces and water. Adjust salt and pepper and sugar(optional).Bring to a boil.

  4. 4

    Slowly add cornflour mixture with continuous stirring till you get required consistency.

  5. 5

    Add the boiled noodle and add water if required.Bring to a boil.

  6. 6

    Serve in individual soup bowls garnished with finely chopped spring onion greens.

  7. 7

    Tip- If preparing for kids then can avoid using chillies and chilli sauce. Can use tomato ketchup instead.
