Steps

Peel and grate lauki/ bottle gourd in big thick bottom vessel. Add milk and sugar. Keep it on high flame.

Cook on high flame, stirring occasionally until all milk, liquid mixture evaporates. Add ghee and now lower the flame to medium, stirring the mixture continuously..till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of vessel.

Add cardamom powder and let it cool to room temperature. Remove in Airtight steel or glass container and garnish with almonds flakes.
